Wish to Collaborate with the LSI?

The Carnot Institute has an excellent reputation for building strong, longterm relationship with Industry. Our overall objective is to develop products which will benefit society and improve our everyday quality of life. A team of technology transfer specialists from the private sector, will work closely with you throughout all commercial processes, and will help you source funding for your collaborative projects.

The LSI Carnot Institute can offer you a large number of technology-based service offerings:

  • Services: Our services call upon high-profile scientific experts, who are recognised in their fields and who understand the demands of Industry. We can also combine this knowledge with state of the art equipment and dedicated technical resources. As part of such a service offering, we can provide you with services that will impact directly and positively on your business.
  • Research collaborations: A research collaboration with the LSI Carnot Institute enables you to acquire new knowledge in your particular R&D field, by leveraging the research capacities of our laboratories. Your teams will work together with ours towards the improvement of scientific knowledge directly linked to your activity. Such collaboration can materialise, for example, in the form of a co-supervised thesis or a shared laboratory. As a result, you will benefit fully from the French Research Tax Credit system (Crédit d'Impôt Recherche).
  • Licensing: Our teams develop high-performance tools that meet the demands both of society and Industry. These tools are patented or registered, and can be out-licensed to your company. A professional licensing service will work closely with you at each and every stage of the commercial process.

This collaborative process starts from the client’s initial brief and continues all the way to the final debrief and the completion of a customer satisfaction survey. From the moment you sign your contract with the LSI Carnot Institute, you will work with a single point of contact who will take care of your project throughout its duration – including, evaluating the client brief , prospecting for partners, contractualisation, monitoring deliverables deadlines. Furthermore, this account manager will manage all relations with our laboratories on your behalf.
