Signal Processing

Signal processing techniques have numerous applications, for example in telecommunications, audio (voice recognition, correction, etc.), video (shape recognition, movement monitoring, etc.), geophysics with magnetic resonance imaging - MRI), or space (processing of satellite photos or radar images).

The teams at the Carnot Institute LSI have extensive expertise in observation, acquisition, analysis, and interpretation processing, which are the foundations of signal and information processing. Their teams have also developed essential skills in source separation, fusion processes, content security, and system diagnostics.

Audio Digital Tattooing

Software tools for marking audio files

The time-frequency tattooing technology developed by the teams at LSI Carnot enables the dissimulation   of data in an audio file, independent from the digital format and therefore from the relevant media file. One of the main applications of this technology is the traceability of audio content.

Biomechanical solutions

Biomechanics involves the principles of construction of the human organism and the relationships between the structures and functions of the body. The biomechanical modelling of "man in motion" that we are developing allows the estimation of internal variables of the human body that are not directly measurable. For example: muscle strength, joint strength, ligament strain, strain on an organ...
